This workshop will provide an engaging introduction to sustainability in the wine industry, emphasising the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) frameworks. This workshop is open to all Wines of WA members, particularly those located in the Geographe, Blackwood Valley, and Southern Forest regions.

Participants will gain an understanding of the benefits of sustainability certifications, such as Sustainable Winegrowing Australia, through enhanced market access, funding opportunities and increased consumer trust. We aim to equip you with the knowledge of how certification programs can simultaneously improve your sustainability practices (such as water conservation, biosecurity management, biodiversity protection, and carbon emissions management) and create competitive advantages through the practice of measuring, monitoring and continual improvement.
