The Geographe Wine Show was first held in 2002.  Over the last 20 years it has become a prestigious annual opportunity for producers in the Geographe wine region to exhibit their wines.  They can also have their wines benchmarked against industry standards.

This wine show has positioned itself as a leader in the value and promotion of alternative varieties so much so, last year, in its 20th year, the show was renamed to Labelmakers Group, WA Alternative Varieties Wine Show.

The wine show facilitates comparison of wines by leading industry professionals, and allows producers to focus on continuous improvements in wine quality.  It also affords the vignerons the opportunity to increase industry knowledge.
