Export Growth Partnership Report 2025
The Export Growth Partnership (EGP) is a five-year co-funded initiative between the Western Australian wine industry and the WA State Government, with both parties contributing approximately $3.5 million. Its shared objective is to increase the profitability of the WA wine industry.
The Cook Labor Government and the WA wine industry have now formally agreed to a new program that doubles the funding base. Before finalising this renewed commitment, the industry undertook a review of the EGP to ensure a fair and accurate evaluation of its performance — specifically, its engagement with stakeholders and perceived value across the sector.
Agknowledge conducted this review through a comprehensive consultation process and has delivered a report that includes a range of suggestions from industry members on enhancing both export and domestic market development.
You were one of 20 participants who shared valuable insights with Julia Ashby during structured phone interviews last month. I wanted to personally thank you for your thoughtful input and the time you took to reflect on the questions — your contribution was instrumental in shaping the review’s findings.
Ahead of the report’s formal publication, I’ve attached a copy for your interest and reference. Please know that your feedback has helped inform the next phase of the market development strategy.
