Lucy Nankervis

SUSTAINABILITY SUPPORT
COORDINATOR

Bringing hands-on experience across vineyards, wineries and wine businesses, alongside her own work as a grower and producer in the Geographe region. This gives her a practical understanding of the commercial realities facing WA producers and a grounded approach to sustainability that supports resilience, efficiency and long-term viability.

At Wines of Western Australia, Lucy works with Sustainability and Industry Development Program Manager Eloise Jarvis to deliver key programs focused on producer collaboration, renewable energy and efficiency, carbon reduction, and biodiversity opportunities. She engages directly with growers and wineries across the state through site visits, workshops and peer learning, ensuring initiatives are practical, relevant and aligned with real-world operating conditions.

Lucy is focused on helping producers identify practical sustainability initiatives that deliver clear business benefits, from reducing costs and improving efficiency to building resilience in a changing climate. She is passionate about fostering collaboration across regions and supporting growers to explore new opportunities, including alternative income streams such as carbon and biodiversity projects
