DPIRD horticulture and irrigated agriculture director Rohan Prince said that the update offers a range of topical presentations, panel discussions, breakout sessions, trade show exhibits and machinery displays with plenty of networking opportunities.

Of particular interest to wine producers, Australian Wine Research Institute Manager for Sustainability and Viticulture, Mardi Longbottom, will present on Sustainability in the grape and wine sector, and how this can be extended to other industries.

Respected global speaker on the future of food, Mike Lee will headline the conference and share his knowledge on artificial intelligence in food production. Panel discussions will capture the different perspectives of leading industry groups on the future of horticulture and how to maintain quality from farm to consumer. Other presentations cover future trends, irradiation, emerging consumer trends and horticulture innovation.
