WA WINES TO THE WORLD is an industry-led export program coordinated by Wines of Western Australia in conjunction with Hydra Consulting, with funding support provided by the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD). The program runs for five years from July 2021. The program aims to increase the volume of WA wine exported to 20% of production; substantially increase the total value of wine exported; and in addition increase the number of WA wine producers that are successfully exporting. In achieving these objectives, the program will be instrumental in supporting WA to build stronger, more resilient and diverse markets.
Held every two years, Vinexpo has been the most influential wine trade fair for wine and spirits professionals in the Asia-Pacific region. The event is set to make a return in 2023 as Vinexpo Asia, to be held from 23 to 25 May at Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands.The three-day B2B trade event will provide the opportunity for wine producers to showcase their brands to the most influential buyers, importers, distributors, producers, sommeliers and merchants from across the region and around the world. An estimated 8,000 trade visitors are anticipated.
In collaboration with Wine Australia, WA WINES TO THE WORLD will support 22 WA Exporters from a number of key wine regions in either individual or shared booths, plus two regional masterclasses on Great Southern Shiraz and Margaret River Cabernet .This is one of our most significant activations for the 2022/2023 program with an investment exceeding $100,000, creating opportunities for both smaller new-to-market exporters as well as the larger more established producers in a burgeoning market.
